this local block party is another popular event in la porte and this was my first year to attend this event as a vendor.
this family-friendly festival has a parade, tarot readings, rides, food trucks, live zydeco music, local shopping, fire throwers, and more festive activities along with OODLES OF BEADS!
thunderstorms were expected all day, but thankfully we only had a couple sprinkles.
the wind on the other hand….. that was a bit of an issue during set up!
loads of THANK YOUs to Brad, Brittany, and my daughter, Brayley!! there’s no way i could have set up without any help on this super windy day. also, shout out to my dad for literally sharing his light by bringing another extension cord!

i’m a candle maker, not a photographer..
i loathe the entire product photography process! oh, the hours i have spent staging, rearranging, uploading, editing, re-uploading, re-editing, sorting, squinting, overcomplicating, trying to remember which photos i uploaded and where, etc.
one day, i’ll figure out the art of making mockups!
until then, i’ll leave it to the professionals.
this particular session was a little more enjoyable. the beads were a fun idea to play around with and they are so pretty to look at!
these gift sets made their first appearance on my table.
